| Q: Why can't I see the panoramas? |
A: To view the panoramas you MUST have java enabled.
|
Internet Explorer Users:
First check your security options. Go to tools > Internet Options and select the 'Security' Tab. The slider should be set to 'Medium' - if not click the 'default Level' button, then 'okay'.
Microsoft Virtual Machine must be installed and enabled ( go to tools > Internet Options > advanced > check box for 'JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled' ). See the screen grab on the right of this text.
If this option is not available then follow the 'Install VM' link below to install the correct files. |
 |
| IE6 users may have to install the Microsoft Virtual Machine (The Java operating software) as this has been removed from some early Version 6 browsers (as in early versions of Windows XP) by Microsoft after a long running dispute with Sun Microsystems. Follow the 'Install VM' link below to download the Microsoft Install file. Note that this is a Microsoft issue and is not related to our Virtual Tours. |
Netscape Users:
The browser must be Java enabled ( go to edit > preferences > advanced > and check box for 'enable JavaScript' ) if it is already checked then your computer might be missing the Java Run Time Environment (JRE) files. This is a fairly common and easy-to-fix problem. Just click on the 'Netscape JRE' link below, choose the correct Java Plug-in and after a short delay Netscape should be updated. Note that this is a Netscape Plug-in deficiency and not related to our Virtual Tours. |

Install Microsoft Virtual Machine (Java support files). This is a Microsoft certified installation file. |
| Netscape JRE |
Go to the Netscape JRE download page. JRE comes as standard with Netscape Version 7 and later (requires Internet connection). |
